Who I supervise
I offer supervision and consultation online, for clinicians in Colorado.
Social work candidates working toward an LCSW. Supervision that counts toward your Colorado licensure hours.
Counselor candidates working toward an LPC. [Confirm with the counselor board before listing.] Colorado's counselor rules allow an LCSW to supervise when the board finds the experience substantially equivalent.
MFT candidates working toward an LMFT. [Optional. Delete this line unless you have MFT-specific experience.]
Licensed clinicians who want consultation. Case consultation for therapists who are already licensed and want a second set of eyes. This doesn't count toward licensure.
How I supervise
What I see in supervision is the same thing I see in therapy: the same pattern, no matter who it's with. A case that keeps getting stuck often has as much to do with what it stirs up in you as with the client.
So we look at both. We talk through your cases, ethics, and the practical side of building a career. We also slow down the sessions that were hard, and notice what you felt and did, and why.
I've trained in Relational Psychodynamic Therapy, and that shapes how I supervise. I'm curious and direct, and I pace the work to where you are in your training.
